Having  attended a study day in 2017 with the Swansea Theosophical Society who had organised an audience and day's teachings with Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku Rinpoche third in line to his Holiness the Dalai Lama. Prior to this ,I had been asked by Pam Evans the organize of the day, which was held at Peace Mala's HQ on 25th February to bring along my very old East Tibetan singing bowl to this event.
I had been working with this particular bowl since 2014 which inspired me to then record a therapeutic CD with this amazing rich tonal vessel of sacred sound for healing purposes,  the bowl taking centre stage within the CD.

Throughout the study day spent with this very warm, wise and relaxed Lama, we  received a Medicine Buddha ceremony offered to all who were present. Lama, Ahbay Rinpoche had played my singing bowl periodically during the course of day's chosen activities which had been place on his altar table.
Having earlier, asked me about the bowl and how it had come to me, with the information I had spoken of to Lama Ahbay, my Deity very old Tibetan singing bowl originally sourced in Nepal, was then acknowledged and blessed by the Lama in a personal ceremony towards the end of the day.Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku also returned to Wales in 2018 and visited and held a study day at Peace Mala  sharing his knowledge of the ancient teachings of Buddhism.
I had wondered of how and why I found myself being the caretaker of this bowl and drawn to work with this vessel of sacred sound in the manner that has developed with the bowl and myself since 2014. What unfolded on that study day with this globally acknowledged Buddhist teacher, who travels around the world from his home in India ,sharing his knowledge and wisdom and giving teachings and blessings to help people find "quote  enjoy happy life and improving your Dharma practice." I now realize I am meant to share the healing benefits of this very old singing bowl and make it accessible to ,who ever feels the need to experience it's healing sounds. Be it one to one or in a group healing session. .Geshe Lama Ahbay Tulku also returned to Wales in 2018 and visited and held a study day at Peace Mala  sharing his knowledge of the ancient teachings of Buddhism.
After some time of contemplation and my own continued practice of this way of being. I have been inspired to now offer monthly sessions of The Ancient Practice of Mindfulness Which has it's origins in Buddhism and Meditiation.. Available to who ever is drawn to this Buddhist healing practice.
